What's New

In our ongoing mission to improve Revelation's user experience, we have given our site a full refresh in this release, in both look and functionality!

From your Home Page to Logging a Ticket to using Chat, we have updated the User Interface across the helpdesk for more modern, more efficient working.

End users can group homepage tickets and see how many tickets are included in each group.

End users can now customize their ticket toolbars to only include tools they use often and hide ones they use less.

Actions in a workflow ticket can now be completed simultaneously and in any order (in parallel) before the ticket is reassigned to the next step in the workflow sequence.

• There is now a permanent filter bar at the top of the homepage which can be hidden.

A chat bar has been added to the right-side context menu for Staff to see previous chats, online status, and the full screen chat view. The banner for Chat requests has been moved from the masthead to the right-side context menu.

TAC has been updated so that when it is configured for your team, you will see tickets that you are the end user for - even if it's assigned to another group or queue you do not have permissions to view.

We have added an option to now automatically attach the original email to the ticket when the email is parsed into the system.

*ADVANCED FEATURE*

We have added the ability to integrate with Revelation Helpdesk API, which can be used to create, update, and manage Tickets, Clients, Projects, and Users in the helpdesk system.

This feature is meant for developers with a basic understanding of OAuth 2.0 concepts and REST API’s.
