Add Revelation to your home screen
While Revelation's Mobile access means no download is required, that doesn't mean you can't add Revelation to your apps list for quick access. Follow the below instructions to add Revelation to your phone for both iOS and Android users:
For iOS
- While on your Revelation instance, open the Share Menu.
- Tap the Share button (a square icon with an upward arrow) at the bottom of the screen.
- Select Add to Home Screen.
- Scroll down in the menu and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Edit the Shortcut Name.
- A preview will appear with the site’s name and icon.
- Note: you can change this name to something shorter or more recognizable.
- Select Add
- Tap the blue Add button in the top-right corner.
Revelation will now appear as an app-like icon on your Home Screen - tapping it will take you directly to your Revelation instance site in Safari.
For Android
- While using Revelation in your preferred browser, tap the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select Add to Home screen
- From the drop-down menu, select Add to Home screen (sometimes labeled Add shortcut to Home screen).
- Edit the Shortcut Name
- A pop-up will appear showing the website’s name and icon.
- NOTE: you can shorten or rename it to something more recognizable.
- Select Add.
- Confirm by tapping Add.
- NOTE: depending on your device, you may be asked to drag the icon to where you want it, or it will be automatically placed on your Home Screen.
